Workshops are Coming Spring 2024
*Workshops are for adults of the age of 18. I do not offer children's workshops*
Workshops are a little more structured and focused than my easy going classes because the true purpose of a workshop is to focus on areas of special interest or particular difficulty – those pesky things that many struggle with – like perspective and anatomy (particularly hands for example) and in a workshop, we do have a goal of coming out the other side with tools to tackle the job.
Nonetheless, I try to approach workshops with a blend of structure and easygoing fun approaches to these areas of special focus and the titles of some of my workshops may give a clue to that approach.
For example:
“Heads, shoulders, hands and feet”
This was a workshop I offered some years ago to focus on how to improve on those challenging areas to draw and paint, without going full anatomy class. (I know - you can't get the song out of your head now. You're welcome.)
“Buildings, cars, butter, pizza and a can of beans (or worms) “
Is another workshop title you may see in offered in the near future - it is a workshop that will focus on improving your drawing and painting of structures and objects in perspective. You’ll have to sign up to find out where butter, pizza and a can of beans (or worms) come into play.
